You may recall that, following the merger, it was decided to change our reporting year-end to 31 December. The deadline for filing is 30 September the following year, as our accounts are filed with the UK registrar. This means that the accounts for 2021 need to be approved prior to 30 September 2022 before filing, and thus why the traditional method of members approving them at the Global Annual General Meeting is no longer practical.

To meet the requirement we have decided to hold a 30-minute (maximum) virtual AGM to approve the accounts – prior to the Global AGM in Vancouver. I would like to hold it on Monday 19 September 21 at 16:00 BST (UK time). I need at least 25 members to provide a quorum, but the more the merrier. To that end, please make a note of the date. Details of the meeting, including the accounts, will be sent out well ahead of the meeting to all members for review and comments with the intention that they are approved on 19th September and filed shortly thereafter.
